Text Box: Fairfield Builders Supply
LaFayette, Indiana
"Our LaFayette plant runs sand and gravel nine to ten and a half months per year. In 1989, we began replacing our wire cloth screens with Dur-Elast® on the recommendation of our Durex-Camline field representative. He promised we'd get longer and cost effective life with Dur-Elast®, and that the openings would stay open. The middle deck has just been replaced after four years of hard use. I've saved at least 40% by believing my Durex-Camline field rep, and that's why I keep going back to Durex-Camline, they do what they say!"

Text Box: Northern Kentucky Aggregates
Petersburg, Kentucky
"Our gravel pit on the Ohio River produces 750,000 tons of gravel each year. Until recently, we were changing screens six to eight times per year because of severe wear, especially on the feed ends of our machines. In March of 1994, we followed Durex-Camline's recommendation to install Dur-Elast® on the feed end and wire cloth at the middle and discharge ends. After ten months, the Dur-Elast® surfaces show no evidence of wear. Our projections show that we'll save nearly $25,000 on screen replacement alone over the next three years—and that's without calculating the additional production that would have been lost if we hadn't switched to Dur-Elast® screens."
